Episode 03: Dr. Rob Lees

In this episode we are talking with Dr. Rob Lees about some of challenges many veteran’s experience within their military service and following their tour of duty.  In his work as a Registered Psychologist, Dr. Lees suggests we are often happiest when we find meaning and a true purpose in life.

With a number of creative initiatives between the school district and Child & Youth mental health in Chilliwack, B.C, Dr Lees also gives us a peek into the unique programs they have created to foster mentorship and leadership among youth. When we help others, the psychological benefits and positive changes in our brain chemistry become protective factors in building resilience.

Covering a lot of ground in this interview, Dr. Lees sheds light on numerous opportunities for cultivating connection.
